Her Lucky Love Hop

I've gotten luckier in love in my older age. I'm not sure if I should attribute that to individual growth or the raining down of blessings from the heavens. Which ever it is, I am grateful, and I know that I'm lucky. I met my husband, Mark, eleven years ago on the internet, no doubt. We were two people who, in all likeliness, would have never met otherwise. But somehow through the magic of phone lines and satellites in the sky, two longing hearts connected and eventually met. I was instantly smitten with him and continue to be.  He has the purest heart of anyone that I know, and has been the best husband anyone can ask for. It doesn't seem possible that we will celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary this July, but it's true.

I'm a huge fan of all things Irish and Scottish and simply adore Saint Patty's Day (I even wear a Celtic knot ring on my middle finger as a symbol of my love for this unique and beautiful culture. Coming up, my mom was always careful to send me to school in green on the day. The kids at my elementary school were ruthless. They pinched you until you screamed for mercy. In junior high, the angst over wearing green was lessened by  raging hormones and the fear of impending adulthood. By high school, no one even cared about the tradition and , for the most part, left their peers alone.

In my Progeny Series, Ascher and Shauna are both lucky and unlucky in love. They are blessed to have found one another and have overcome many obstacles to be together. They strive for that pot of gold, if you will, that is their happily ever after. Problem is, they have a sadistic woman scorned ready to assure that they never reach it. Ursula Vasille is Ascher's ex-fiance and one mean vampire with the taste of revenge in her mouth. She hates Shauna for ruining her chances at a bloodstone and the security of eternity with Ascher. She's really got it bad! As the old saying goes, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

  8. Wow, what a great giveaway. The series sounds amazing and one I certainly have to add to my list! The covers are stunning as well. They draw your attention to the books immediatly.

I don’t know that I would say I’m lucky in love or not. Well, maybe it’s better to say I’ve not always been lucky in love. I’ve been lucky at times and unlucky at other times. Married once when very young, divorced once, remarried someone else later and now still happily (most of the time :P) married so I would say right now I feel lucky in love .

Thank you for the chance to enter :D Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone :)

  15. What a great giveaway hop! I have yet to be lucky in love but I'm working on it. My favorite love book is "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon. Jamie Fraser is amazing and beautiful. I enjoy St. Patty's Day and this year I'm spending it with my best friend. We're going to two Irish Pubs and also some dance clubs. I am also wearing green and am not a fan of getting pinched. I'm not Irish either, but many people think I am because my hair is red, my eyes green and my name is Meghan, but I'm not at all. I won't be telling anybody that, however… let them believe I'm Irish.
    Thanks for the giveaway!
